It’s always such a pain trying to think of cute outfits for the holiday season. We spend so much time celebrating with different #people that sometimes it feels like we could never have enough time to plan cute outfits for the holiday season. However, with this list, you won’t have to spend any #time thinking of cute outfits, because you can just refer to this list before your next holiday party!
1. Burgundy and White
For some reason, I really love burgundy this season. I have a feeling it’s because the color is just about everywhere you #look this holiday season. As a result, pairing burgundy skinny jeans with an oversized white sweater, along with your favorite scarf or necklace, is an easy outfit to pull together last minute on Christmas or New Year”s Eve. If you have a laidback holiday with your close family, this outfit is perfect for you! This is one of my favorite cute outfits for the holiday season, so I’m sure I’ll be wearing some variation of it during the holidays!
2. Velvet Skater Dress
Since the “90s are back in style, these dresses came along with it. Velvet skater dresses are the perfect way to dress up while staying true to your own personal style, something that isn’t always easy during the holiday season. Whether you’re looking for a way to relive the Christmases of your youth, or simply think these dresses are adorable, a velvet skater dress is perfect for your next holiday party!
3. Black on Black with a Touch of Plaid
Having gone to Catholic schools for thirteen years, it’s very rare that I willingly reach for plaid when picking out outfits. However, when it comes to the holiday season, I can’t get enough. There’s something about red plaid during the holidays that automatically makes me feel festive. If you’re looking to feel the same, try black leggings with a black sweater and plaid flats. It’s a super easy way to #look put together!
4. Something Retro
There’s something about this holiday season in particular that is screaming “retro” to me. As a result, I’ve spent way too much #time on Modcloth browsing through the seemingly endless amount of retro dresses they sell. Whether it’s tea length, off the shoulder, or somewhere in between, I couldn’t care less, I just can’t get enough! If you have a formal holiday party to go to, a “50s inspired dress might just be perfect for you!
5. The Midi Skirt
I just don’t think that there’s anything like a nice, full midi skirt, especially around the holidays. It automatically adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit, and these days, they’re insanely easy to find. It seems like every clothing store sells some type of midi skirt right now, so you definitely won’t have trouble locating one!
6. The Classic Ugly Christmas Sweater
Even if you haven’t been invited to an ugly Christmas sweater party, it seems like ugly Christmas sweaters are so widely accepted now that you could wear one without #people batting an eyelash. How did ugly Christmas sweaters get cute all of a sudden? We may never know, but you should be glad they did—they make for one of the easiest holiday party outfits!
7. Your Favorite Sweater and Leggings
When it all comes down to it, you want to feel comfortable and happy in your clothing choice. Chances are that you’ll feel most comfortable in your favorite sweater, paired with your best pair of leggings or pants. Whether you have to go to Friendsgiving or a family holiday party, you can’t go wrong when you’re wearing your favorite sweater!
Will you wear any of these outfits during the holiday season? Let me know in the comments!
